What we do...

Green Ventures is an asset manager, which deals in the following areas:
  • Carbon Management and Advising Services
  • Renewable Energy (Hydro, Wind, Solar, Biogas)
  • Rural Renewable Energy Development Projects

We create a unique proposition for investors, partners, and policy makers by creating and funding initiatives that reduce greenhouse gas emissions (carbon footprint) and addresses the known global warming problem. Green Ventures also funds and assists eco-friendly project developers and advocates of clean technology, by financing project initiatives via large readily available funds. Green Ventures focuses on industrial enterprise partnerships by providing strategies to receive existing capital and energy efficient clean technology, under the current United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) guidelines and the Kyoto Protocol, which became effective in 2005.

We bring over 20 years of expertise in project implementation, project management, advisory, and documentation services, in a timely and efficient manner.

Green Ventures acts as a catalyst with an active and opportunistic role, in the ongoing development of the carbon market across South Asia and worldwide to build integrated solutions for meeting global sustainable development requirements for renewable energy, reduction of greenhouse gases, and poverty alleviation.

When a client intends on adding a value proposition to an existing revenue stream, Green Ventures assists by providing acquisition and project development, and project capitalization, by combining its experience in commercial renewable energy power generation, environmental engineering, and development of alternative energy technology, environmental information technology management, and capital for electric utilities in emerging markets.

By providing renewable energy and replacing energy intensive machinery with the latest technology and introducing waste heat recovery projects GV can not only reduce existing operating costs but also assist in qualifying issuance of valuable carbon credits, via the CDM process under the UNFCCC. Shifting dependency from coal to gas and introducing alternative power generation also creates the ability to earn carbon credits, which companies can monetize, thereby, increasing their revenue stream.
