Krish R. Krishnan (Founder) President and CEO:

Mr. Krishnan has over 20 years of experience founding and managing environmental, alternative energy, and technology companies across 15 countries and 4 continents. He has been involved in developing renewable energy projects within the hydro, wind, solar and solar/wind hybrid power generation sectors. Krish has been developing carbon projects in South Asia since the U.S. Initiative on Joint Implementation (sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy in 1990) which served as the model for the Kyoto Protocols Clean Development Mechanism. Krish was also involved in the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Krish has provided expert testimony to the U.S. Senate and other congressional forums on environmental issues. Krish maintains extensive relationships with major corporations and government agencies internationally and across South Asia.

Mr. Krishnan completed his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and his graduate studies in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.


Thomas A. Broadbent Jr. - Chief Strategy Officer:

Tom has over 20 years of experience on Wall St. as an industry leader and innovator of asset management, alternative investment, and private equity strategies. Tom has directly coordinated asset management and led capital raising activities for hedge funds, CTAs, fund of funds, private equity funds, private placements, and public equities. Tom has also organized and managed asset management firms’ business development, strategic product development, driven regulatory progression, due diligence, risk control processes, access strategies and industry communications.

Tom has held senior leadership positions at major financial institutions including Fidelity, Federated Investors, Kennedy Smith Broadbent, REFCO Alternative Investments and Asset Alliance. Tom graduated from Jacksonville University and continued his graduate studies at Harvard University.

Tom is currently an Appointee for MIGA, Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, The World Bank Group in Washington, DC. Founding Chairman's Committee Member for The Family Office Association, Senior Advisor for the World Pension Forum, and an Advisor for Grameen America.


Bhanu Pokharel - Technical Director:

Bhanu is the Technical Director for Green Ventures hydropower portfolio and recently was involved with the development of Likhu IV 120 MW Hydropower Project. Bhanu is regarded as one of the leading hydropower experts in Nepal and has spent over twenty years with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) involved in various stages of hydropower development for over 5,478 MW of hydro power capacity.


Amit S. Minhas - Project Manager:

Amit has over 10 years experience working in project management and various consulting positions in the Washington DC metro area. He previously worked as a contract administrator for a U.S. government contractor on the Prime Power Project in Iraq, a consultant to the World Bank Oil, Gas, Chemical, and Mining Division, on the Global Gas Flaring Reduction Initiative and the World Bank's South Asia and Pacific Human Resources Team. Amit also consulted with the AT&T Government Sales and Solutions Department in Vienna, Virginia and with Africa II Division's Executive Director's office, at the International Monetary Fund, in Washington DC.

Amit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a MBA (Grad. 2010) from the University of Maryland University College in Maryland.

Somsekhara Kumar - Project Manager:

Som has over 10 years experience in the financial industry working for Citigroup and A.F. Ferguson within South Asia and the Middle East. Som is actively involved in international forums and discussion groups focused on clean technology and carbon credits projects in Nepal and India.
